Now Moto G Gen 3 is receiving Android 6.0 marshmallow update: Android pay and fingerprint API are added in the update

Google Android had launched the android 6.0 marshmallow version in May 2015 but until now many new android handsets are using Android 5.1 lollipop version. Recently, Moto has unveiled the OS update plan for moto G (gen 3) and now the users who living in Canada and US are enjoying the updated version of Android OS. Moto has also planned to widen the release in other parts of the world too. The OS update plan was declared in October and it was offered to moto devices like moto X play, Moto X style and Moto X gen2 including moto G (gen 3).
The android 6.0 update includes rebuild app permissions, Android pay a mobile wallet system, Google on tap feature, fingerprint API and security patches of Google. The update will remove the Moto assist feature from the smartphone, but it offers 'do not disturb' function in sound and notification settings which does the similar work like moto assist. The marshmallow update has the capacity of 2GB and it improves the software version of moto G (gen 3) to 24.11.25.en.US.
