Airtel has unveiled its new website to track call drops:Live status of Network coverage and site expansion are displayed

Airtel was criticized for its frequent call drops, to overcome it Airtel had launched the micro-website to display the live status of network converge and site expansion. In November month, Airtel has introduced ‘project leap’ with the budget allocation of 60 cores for three years to improve the quality of its network. The micro-website will be added in the Airtel official website to allow its customers to view the status and progress of network in their respective locality. The voice and data services of 2G, 3G and 4G are present in the website.

Airtel will enable the customers to view the sites planned to launch in their localities and it will also have the details of the sites that are not under operation. The project leap has planned to introduce 70,000 mobile sites and 23,000 sites to improve the network for customers.  160,000 base stations and 550,000 kilometers of international fiber optic cables will be implemented in the coming year. Airtel is ready to expand the broadband speed up to 50Mbps where currently it is offering 16Mbps. Bharti Airtel has also planned to deploy fiber optics at the speed of100 Mbps for residential purpose. Airtel project Leap will bring a change in mobile network connections.
